  1. WELCOME TO THE TKpSecurityGuard & TKpGuardList Installation Process:
  2.  
  3. The following files should exist in the same directory as the
  4. one in which this file exists:
  5.  
  6.         INSTALL.TXT
  7.         INSTALL.EXE
  8.         KPSECURE.EXE
  9.  
  10. NOTE: If this is the Un-Registered version you will NOT be able to run
  11.       your application unless DELPHI is also running.
  12.       If you try, you will get a dialog box describing how to register
  13.       your version of TKpSecurityGuard and TKpGuardList.
  14.             To Register goto then SWREG forum on CompuServe.

  19. TO INSTALL FILES:
  20. -----------------
  21. NOTE: If you have installed this before, you may want to delete the
  22. files described in Appendix A.  Previously installed files will NOT
  23. be overwritten by INSTALL.EXE.
  24.  
  25.         1:      Copy INSTALL.EXE --> \DELPHI\LIB
  26.  
  27.                      ( or another directory of your choice...
  28.                        must be on the DELPHI Library Search path )
  29.  
  30.         2:      Execute INSTALL.EXE at command line:
  31.  
  32.                      ( File structure described in APPENDIX A )
  33.  
  34. TO INSTALL DELPHI COMPONENTS:
  35. -------------------------
  36.         1:      Open DELPHI normally
  37.         2:      Choose OPTIONS | INSTALL COMPONENTS
  38.         3:      Click ADD
  39.         4:      Click BROWSE
  40.         5:      Locate file: KpSECURE.DCU installed above
  41.         6:      Click OK twice
  42.         7:      COMPLIB.DCL will recompile.

  44.                      ( TKpSecurityGuard & TKpGuardList will be added
  45.                        on the Kalliopi Page of the Component Palette )

  47. TO INSTALL THE INTEGRATED HELP FILE:
  48. ------------------------------------

  50. NOTE:   For the best restuls you may want to move the KWF and HLP
  51.         files to the following directories:
  52.                 KWF --> \DELPHI\HELP\
  53.                 HLP --> \DELPHI\BIN\
  54.  
  55.         1:      Make sure that DELPHI is CLOSED!
  56.         2:      Open the HelpInst.EXE
  57.                      ( Located \DELPHI\BIN\ )
  58.         3:      Choose FILE | OPEN
  59.         4:      Open \DELPHI\BIN\DELPHI.HDX
  60.         5:      Click the '+' button
  61.         6:      Open KpSECURE.KWF installed above 
  62.         7:      It will be added as follows:

  64.                      ( CWG.KWF
  65.                        DELPHI.KWF
  66.                        WINAPI.KWF
  67.                        +KWF's you've added
  68.                        KPSECURE.KWF )
  69.  
  70.         8:      Click FILE | SAVE to link the KWF to DELPHI.HDX
  71.         9:      Click FILE | EXIT to leave the HelpInst program
  72.         10:     Run DELPHI.  Help will be integrated.
